I guess what I mean by "telling a story" differs from what you mean by it. Visually, the Stones were who they were. It's not the first time they "dressed up". I recently bought an Ed Sullivan dvd set which contains all the Stones performances. (Great dvd btw!) They were "dressed up" in several of those performances (especially Mick and Brian). In no way did I think they were telling a story. By telling a story, I mean that the lyrics of a particular song are played out as a video, pretty much telling the viewer exactly what the lyrics are supposed to mean. I would rather draw my own conclusion as to what the lyrics mean. The JJF video tells me nothing about the lyrics, which is why I love that video. It is strictly the band playing the song.
