Definitely a Racket

but with the Insurance Companies current stranglhold and the Rebulicans seeming hidden agendas obama can't do anything. it is very difficult, you guys can't just do away with the insurance companies becuase it is a HUGE revenue for the econony but after reading some of the numbers you's are payign it cetainly is a racket.

It is a racket. And it isn't just the Insurance companies but also the Pharmaceutical companies. Both have heavy lobby efforts. You even have people like Joe "Judas" Lieberman, who's own wife is a lobbyist, and receives huge donations from the Insurance companies located in Connecticut. Neither the Insurance or Pharmaceutical companies have any interest in seeing cost contained or reduced.
