Of course your 100 correct on this issue keno.Wenner was probably stunned to have lennon on rolling stones first cover and it was certainly no big deal to lennon of course.And there is no way anything wenner could ever say or do could add to lennons legacy.I dont even recall wenner being around publically after johns death?I do recall alot though.Yoko was hanging around alot with david geffon after the shooting and of course ringo and elton john flew in to keep yoko and sean company.Elton was getting death threats because he dared to show up in the proximity of the passing of a beatle.And ringo was getting lps and papers stuck in front of him as he tried to make his way to the dakota,until he started swearing at the fans and shouting that a mans been killed here!Keith richards tried to make his way to the dakota but could not get anywhere near there with the masses out in front.Frank sinatra sent yoko flowers and everyone from ronald reagan,paul harvey,howard cosell to walter cronkite and jeraldo rivera weigned in on the tragedy.The entire planet was stunned it was the biggest news story since the passing of elvis.And tons of celebrities either hid out,bought guns or hired several bodyguards,the world for celebs had changed forever.
