Here's the problem with stereotypes. You can always and very quickly go and find someone that lives up to the stereotype"

the miserly Scott

the Englishman with the stiff upper lip

the drunk irishman

the Jew who loves money

the Italian who sounds like a character from Goodfellas

the African American who is athletic and can sing and dance

But as quick as you can find these examples, one can find MILLIONS who do not live up to these stereotypes and are in fact opposite to them

Then... dig a bit deeper, apply science and you see that the whole thing falls apart when you find all sorts of examples of one group's stereotype in another group, and vice versa. Do we not think there are not Frugal Mexicans? Impolite Canadians? Alcoholic Japanese??!
