RE: RE: RE: RE: an awesome TV show at all

Yeah. The hood I grew up in was 90% Italian American and Jewish, with your token WASP family, and one Irish American family, too. So I spent a lot of time with many NY Italian Americans yet I never once met a single family that was mob, not one! Yet then after I moved to Colorado, where as I noted, had almost no Italian Americans living there, I was running this sales office in Colorado Sps when this guy named Joe P. rented out the office next door, and he at first told me he was from Chicago. He was an Italian American, about 10 years older than me, a heavy pot smoker, and he took a liking to me. He actually had this busy cool pizza place that he owned and ran, yet his office was for, as he put it, his side work. In the 2 to 3 months I got to know this guy, I learned more about becoming a great businessman and salesman from him than from anybody else. Plus his wife was hot and a great cook too, just like my wife was, and our kids were the same age, so our families became friends. Joe wanted to start a business with me selling food to restaurants in the area and that's when he opened up more to me about his family back east and that he too was born in NYC and moved to Chicago as a teen to work the family business there. That's when I learned he was a part of the Colombo crime family and he was named after his uncle Joe Colombo, even though his last name was different. But it was crazy, I grew up in NY, knew all these different Italian Americans and never once rain into a mob family, not until I moved out west to where there were no such families. But as soon as I found out about who Joe really was, there was no way I was gonna go into business with him. That was when my old lady decided this would be a great time to leave town and move to Telluride, which was 6 hours away and a place we always wanted to live - and so we did that almost over night. I just told Joe that something legal came up and I had to flee town, and he was cool with that. I never saw or heard from Joe again after that, yet I always wondered what happened to him, as he was one wild man - and a member of the mob.
