But who wrote the special musical composition we hear on this song? Was it Keith? If so, why didn't he played that part on his guitar? He clearly doesn't, you can barely even hear his guitar on this song. But if he did write it and he had Brian play it on the marimbas, then okay, fine, Keith wrote the music. But according to those inside the band, and I'm talking about more than one story has addressed this, is that the marimbas part was put together by Brian, not Keith, and if that's the case, then Brian wrote that part of the music, and since the the marimbas are both the lead and main instrument in the song, he should have been given credit for what he came up with.
