You sent me a copy of 'Charlie Is My Darling' several years ago but that was a bootleg of the movie which was never released. Loog never intended the film to be released, he simply wanted the boys to get used to cameramen being around, for future films.
The version of the film I watched today on Audience has been painstakingly restored, and the audio enhanced as well. After the film was over, there was a short but impressive doc on the restoration. It compared the Before and After and it was like night and day! The film now looks as though it was shot with reasonably modern cameras but shot in black and white. The difference in the quality has been amazingly improved. You of all people, I know, DA, will want a copy of the newly restored film. The new version also has footage left out of the original version. Interesting to be a fly on the wall as Jagger and Richards are songwriting 'Sitting On A Fence', right there in front of the camera. Richards playing his guitar and Mick and Keith working out the lyrics to his guitar melody. There was a short interview of Brian. I didn't watch the movie from start to finish uninterrupted though. A friend called with a problem.
