I closed my reply above saying how the police in Colorado are for the most part cool, and they are. But sadly, I noted that ins't the case if you live almost anywhere east of this state. If you're black (or Hispanic, or a white man with long hair, etc), they treat you even worst simply because you don't look the way they look!
Anyway, I just read this article about a bunch of pigs in SC who put 8 bullets into a dude in his home, because he was dealing in weed. To think in most of the U.S. this shit still takes place - that's sad indeed! When I read about other states decriminalizing weed I think to myself, how backwards those states are, decriminalizing something that should be totally legal? Something that most Americans feel should be legal? A harmless plant, you're ruining the lives of so many people because they use a plant? I'm glad it's legal where I live and in the other 4 states where it's legal, and soon it will be legal also in another half dozen states, but if you live in most other places, the best you can hope for is seeing it being decriminalized at best, and that's not enough! We did that in Colorado way back in the late 1970s! It's 2015 damn it, this madness of busting people, and throwing them in jail at tax payers expense, and allowing pigs to shoot people full of bullet holes over a plant - has to end now!.... but when will it? When people show outrage over these sick actions, and vote out the pigs in both parties who stand against the people wishes, while taking campaign money from pharmaceutical companies, who make all kinds of dirty money off weed being illegal. When all the people fight back, that's when this madness will end. I was fighting this shit back when I was 16 years old, was arrested and spent a night in jail at 17 for fighting it, and no, I never dealt weed, I just smoked it and worked as a volunteer for places like NORML in it's very early days. Sad that such a place is still needed today, well, not where I live, but in most states.
