SW: I see your point, however, there is no denying that a Stones show WITH MT is a MUCH better show! If they hadn't teased us by bringing him aboard from 2012 to 2014, we would not be discussing this...BUT THEY DID!
Clearly, they don't NEED him. But clearly, the show is a better one WITH him... especially when they are highlighting a very much MT album, Sticky Fingers and especially when they are STILL having special guests play WITH them onstage! Gary Clark Jr did Bitch with them the other night! Why can't a willing MT be the onstage guest ON HIS SONGS!? Yes he quit 40 years ago. So what? He was playing WITH them LAST YEAR! And in Sweet Summer Sun, Keith, on camera, seemed elated that MT was on board!
I said it once, I'll say it again... they are afraid that MT is upstaging them. They see that they are clearly better WITH him. That's why he was limited when he "guested" and that's why he's not with them now. That is JMHO...
