RE: RE: The Stones in the future

I disagree, they have released way too much live stuff for me, I rather see a new studio LP any day! I know many fans love live cuts, but to me, they never sound as good as songs made in the studio (with few exceptions), and releasing live stuff is just being lazy. A studio LP is adding new songs to your catalog - and it isn't like they have run out of new ideas. If they can put out solo LPs to this day, then they could be putting out Stones LPs instead. That's what most of us fans want to see, not solo crap! ABB was a great LP and I know they got yet another great LP in them!

I only agree to a point in what some fans say about MT was only in the band for a short time and he quit, so the hell with him and don't let him back in... and fans shouldn't bitch about it. But a bigger part of me disagrees with this thinking, they actually need him back, unless they just don't care about the live music they are putting out, which isn't the same today as it once was. Some will say, well they're old now, but if they are going to still play while old and charge top prices, then they should put on as great a show that they can. They aren't doing that if they don't bring back MT, and deep down I don't see a crime being committed by the fans if they bitch about this. Yes, MT was only in the band a short time, but in that short time he was there for some of their best songs, and all of their best albums - and he was a major reason why those LPs were great! He also plays live today better than Keith and Ronnie, so why not allow him back in if that's what your fans want?
