We all lose "something" as we age. Even Mick J doesn't sound like a 20-year old anymore.
What a drag it is getting old!
Mick T sounded just fine on MR during the previous tour. And I'm sure he would have sounded fine on "Satisfaction" if only we could have heard a single note he was playing. Maybe he wanted to play "Popeye the Sailor Man" and that's why they had to put him on accoustic? (j/k)
Could he maintain this level of performance throughout an entire show and more importantly, an entire tour? We don't know. But we do know this: Keith's arthritis isn't going to get any better and there will be nights when he won't be able to play all that much. Wouldn't it be nice to have two other Stones guitarists on hand for those nights rather than just one? And when Keith is able to give a full performance, having an extra guitar would only enrich the sound.
From a fan's POV, having MT on board only has positive aspects. No negatives whatsoever.
