As far a bitching goes, anybody can bitch here and let off steam, and I was bitching myself when I complained about the bitching! But all I can say is, think of something you enjoy a lot, like the Stones. Say you love a song of theirs and your mate hates it and puts it down whenever you play it, you would not care for that, would you?... Shit, that just reminded me of the mid '00s here and how much I loved the Stones new Bang album and a handful of Gassers, really the very same people, just kept putting it down, over and over again. They just didn't know what they were missing!
The thing is that this has been an exceptionally cold winter. As a weather person said, we are in record territory here. We just had the coldest February since 1889! Day after day after day of windchill factor below zero F (sometimes well below!) will dampen the spirit of even the most enthusiastic winter lover. I know a few, and they're sick of it too.

For most of the month I had to wear a face mask under my hat, which I wore under my heavy coat hood. I had to wear warm leotards under my pants. I'm sick of feeling mummified every time I venture outdoors, even if it's only to go around the corner to pick up some milk. I have an awful case of cabin fever. I want some warmer weather so I can resume taking long walks. Maybe I am bitching, and I apologize if I am, but I just can't stand this cold anymore.
