Turner! Where have you been? I was thinking of you just yesterday when I came across that Dylan at MSG '75 show you sent me years ago. Weird thing is my memory has no physical Turner to go by. Are you slim, with short brown hair like my default memory has you in my blind mind's eye? ha Welcome back!
For shits and giggles I just timed the LIV on Ladies And Gentlemen The Rolling Stones against my favorite live LIV performed in Philly. There IS quite a difference between the two:
Philly - 5:36
L>RS - 6:15
The L>RS version "feels" unnatural, like they are holding back, nearly ready to stop, but MT's song ending solo still has it's moments. There is just so much more life in the Philly version and most of the other versions of LIV on that tour. Odd to choose the very slow one for the film.
