RE: A word or two (or 500) about Bob Dylan nsc

"He invites you to use your own imagination to complete the story of the song" ---very true TM. I also agree with you with regards to "Blood On The Tracks" I too believe that, along with "Highway 61" as being his best. Yet then I'm led into remembering "Nashville Skyline" and "Blonde On Blonde" And then I'm led into his more recent works, which I think are brilliant, for he is not trying to relive something from the '60's on those albums, but rather he composes from the standpoint of a guy IN HIS '60's and '70's. Speaking of imagination, could we ever imagine Bob Dylan to never exist? If we can, how empty would the music world have been? As the world needed his likes in 1962 and every decade since, the world needs his likes so desparately these days. I don't care if his vocal voice has gotten weak with time, his written voice is truly "Forever Young"
