I hope you're right TM, can't bear to think of the big man up there in the frozen north crying into his home brew. Talking of which, have you heard of this new Icelandic beer brewed using smoked fin whale testicle, Hval 2?.. I believe the smoking is done using some sort of dung, it sounds vile, if I come across it I wont be trying. Leave the whales alone ffs!
I take your point on the backup QB, but is it the coach who signs him, and keeps him on the payroll? I mean why have him if you don't think he's up to it to step in when needed? It seems Manning has carried the injury for five weeks, and has played below par, and in the big one couldn't produce. Again I know it's not soccer, and the rules re making substitutions will be different, but if my star playmaker was carrying an injury I would only risk him in a vital game, and then only coming off the bench for the last half hour or so if the game was not going our way. I've got to think Manning was telling Fox 'I'm playing'.
