The news here in NY is making it seem like he quit. Mutual, meaning that he wanted out and the owners saying "OK, go". Why would they want a coach that doesn't want to be there?I tend to believe that because Denver just gave him a new 3 year contract after last years Super Bowl. Plus, if Manning was hurt (and it was obvious something wasnt right with him) why would they blame a coach who has amassed so many wins, won the division every year he was there, took them to a Super Bowl in only his third year there and took 2 different teams to a Super Bowl? It doesnt make sense that they fired him. Plus, I don't think a 38 year old quarterback with a history of being a losing playoff QB, who MAYBE has one season left in him had Fox fired. No owner would can a coach with Fox' resume for a one year QB.
