Lots of solo Stones, especially MJ and Keith, and even some Ronnie solo too, but nothing by Bill, and you think they would play some Faces since Ronnie was in that band - and for the other artists they are playing their former bands music. I mean, they haven't played the one famous Faces song that Ronnie sang lead on, that being "Ooh La La".
Seems 5 of the 6 artists are being heard often, sometimes 6 or 7 times in an hour, yet not as much Dylan, and when they do play Dylan it's the songs you usually hear on the radio. With the Who they seem to be playing the most rare cuts, including a lot of Townsend's 3 solo albums where he re-recorded Who songs. Cool to hear once, but they keep playing too much of that over and over, I mean I only need to her his solo take of "Eminence Front" once, but I've heard it 3 times now, along with the Who's original take of it, and also their live take of it, too. Plus, they have covered Neil Young the most without repeats, very cool, but they have played nothing from his Old Ways album (which I just wrote about below in another thread, which I flat out love, and I don't care if it's a country album, they aren't going by their normal format this week at that station, so play it!
But overall, it's been worth the listen, and if yo get Sirius, I suggest you tune in, if only for the Stones, who they are playing once again at this very moment.
