I spent serious time trying to find pics of the sound system of each tour. Able to determine there was no reinforcement for the 64-67 tour. just one amp per player. wow. Over head arrays and monitors showed up in '69. No coincidence thats when the better sounding audience boots surfaced. Stones could have learned alot from pink floyd. I find it interesting and agree with the wireless assessment of the 81 tour. There's two recordings floating around that actually have interference from what sounds like taxi cab chatter on them. Voo Doo lounge was the first foray of computer assisted sound design. Worked to my ears.
