TSMR in the Stones poll. By at least 2000 light years! "Continental Drift" is the only song on SW that I would listen to on a regular basis if it was on a better album. The rest runs from OK to very bad. At least IMHO.
TSMR, on the other hand, was and remains an underrated album. Perhaps the most underrated except for GHS.
No vote in the first rock poll. Yet another band that I'm only a casual fan of. I don't feel qualified to decide who in this band is underrated and who isn't.
Macca's version in the second rock poll. For starters, I can't stand Axl's voice. Everything about Macca's version sounds better to me, starting with his vocals.
I gave "Please Please Me" a 7. I really wanted to give it a 7.5, but there are no half numbers. I could have gone for 8 but I want to save room for the later albums, which are so much better. If everything is a 10, then 10 is meaningless. Perfection is the exception, not the norm.
