Status Quo is/was a lame ass British band from the 70's and 80's. If they didn't make it big overseas: feel lucky. (though with your musical preferences, I'd almost suggest you'd check them out on youtube).
If I check your list, I'd say you prefer circus acts over performers who think that crafting up a decent song is more important than crafting the right image to sell albums. Kid Rock is all about the pose: he sampled and/or ripped off a few catchy licks so he needn't bother with finding his own sound, created a white trash version of Snoop Dogg and became an instant rock star. It has as much to do with the Stones as a bowl of fried rice.
The Stones have always been big on the marketing themselves. You could even make a point in saying they invented it (along with the Fab Four of course), but they also turned out to be incredible songwriters, with a large potential to grow and look in multiple directions. Which is why they're in the same league as Dylan, Springsteen, Jack White or the Drive-by Truckers. The Stones always had the power to reinvent themselves while maintaining their own, recognisable sound. AC/DC and ZZ (or a band like Kiss) made a few fun tracks over the years, but they never had that power. So they kept floating on the school boy outfit or the beards. And it's all cool. But they're nowhere near the big league the Stones play in.
