i agree with blues..sometimes a band will try something new that many fans hate. but after time they see how great a album really was... take exile for example.. or even tsmr.
they did not set record sales at the time. 30+ years later people are still buying and loving these albums..most hard core fans hate change and when a band wants to get creative we are slow to embrace it.. but after time we see how truely great it really is.. like bridges and black and blue. today i really love both albums... much, much more then when they were 1st released...
the best are the ones that still sound fresh and new after 30 years.
