Well I just took a look and yes, your story about them being in the studio and Lennon and McCartney showed up there is the only one I can find online today, as a few websites report it in that matter. But I remember reading in books that the song was written at the Stones flat after a show. Guess the story was changed and wish I could recall the books I read that in, as I got too many books on the Beatles to look that up in. Heck, for that matter I might have read it in one of my many books about the Stones. But that's what I recall, or maybe I'm just getting dementia and losing my marbles? Sure hope it isn't that!
