Best Bands (SSC)

OK, well obviously *highly* subjective. But ... why not? It's just for fun.

Stones (that's why we are here, right?)

Faces (most Stones like band IMHO. I love those guys).

Dylan. Need I defend this?

Floyd. But I actually am not in to Dark Side, Wish You Were Here. I like Syd stuff. Animals and The Final Cut are amazing.

Byrds. Sweetheart of the Rodeo. One of the best ever.

Kinks. Highly underrated (at least in USA). Ray is/was a crazy good songwriter.

Deep Purple. Also underrated (USA).

Iron Maiden. I am deviating a bit from what this group probably likes. I am not a big heavy metal guy, but hey, I like them. I think their songs are smart.

GNR. If they made more than three good albums ... (I have a boot of them playing with the Stones.)
