Very interesting article here (link at bottom) which basically asks the question: who was better - The Rolling Stones or The Beatles.
At first I thought there wouldn't be much to the article, but I do like the way they break things down. But to compare the two of the greatest musical acts of modern times is tough. I'm not sure if I want any part of it. This is not comparing Led Zeppelin to Hootie And The Blowfish. This is serious stuff, at a very high level. So I'll retreat to my position which is that you simply cannot rank great art (Keno's brilliantly conceived and written polls excepted)
Within this link is also an article about the 3 greatest 'snubs' in the Rock Hall's history. I know nothing of Big Star and The New York Dolls, but T-Rex should probably be in there. If N.W.A. and Madonna can be in the Hall, then surely T-Rex can!
