Yes indeed, "Jeepster" was a super song! Better than "Bang a Gong", which was actually titled in the UK as "Get it On", but that title not allowed to be used in the conservative States by the band's record company. Really, Marc Bolan wrote some of the most sexiest-rocking songs ever made about woman. Other great underrated TRex songs to check out include: "Raw Ramp" (perhaps my favorite TRex song), "Lean Woman Blues" (really just as good as RR), "Rip Off" (a early punkish song and unlike the band's other stuff) along with the entire Electric Warrior LP, and also the entire LP The Slider, with songs on it like it's title cut, 'Metal Guru" "Telegraph Sam" and "Lady". Really you can start with those 2 LPs and then there's so much more from this band (like "20th Century Boy", etc). He was also a great lead guitar player too, including for other bands. That's his hot lead playing on ELO's "Ma-Ma-Ma Belle".
It really was a shame how Marc was killed and his life being cut short at such a young age, just like that! You're a superstar one minute and then your life is gone and done the very next!
