Yea T.Rex only had one charted hit here in the states. At least it made the top-ten.
How in the world does a song like Jeepster not make the chart?!
Fans of T. Rex had a Beatles-type of behavior and reaction towards them, according to Kasey Casey on his A.T.40 show. The hysteria in one of their concerts caused one poor fan to fall off of a balcony. (Hope that fan was alright.)
I think if you compare, say, the best 3 Stones albums against the best 3 Beatles albums, you have quite a competition. But then, there would be significant arguments as to what are the best 3 of each.
Wow Gomper, 🙀 talk about brain exercise! 🤓 You know what? The more I think of it, picking the 'best 3 Stones albums' would be a little easier because their Big Four & Some Girls would most likely be the final contestants considered for picking the best 3. The Stones' best albums stand out too far.
Whereas the Beatles, it would be much harder to agree: Sgt. Pepper? RS? Revolver? AR? Meet the Beatles? Help? AHDN? MMT?.....
See what I mean?
