With me, I was smitten by Beatlemania when it started here in N America in the beginning of 1964. I was 7. The Beatles started my love for music. 💚
The Stones came very shortly after, and I was crazy about them too, but the Beatles were my #1.
BUT, by early 1966, when the Stones released "19th Nervous Breakdown" as a new single, I realized in my heart that I dug the Stones more, but I wouldn't allow myself to admit it! 🙀
Kicking and screaming, I had to admit to myself that the Stones were better.
The 60s ----- a very fantastic time for music!!! 👍
Also, I too agree that T. Rex deserves to be in the hall.
