Harrison was vastly under-rated, as tasteful as it gets with hooks and fills, and a master of playing for the song. No 3-chord wonder, his chord vocabulary was immense and he was adept at concealing the complexities in his playing. There should be different standards in assessing the skills of guitarists such as Harrison and Mick Taylor. The latter being a soloist extraordinaire but less involved in the stucture of the songs he performed on, and the former being more of an ensemble player who could also solo in a trademark style. KR would also fir into the later category as well.
