Why speak up now? Is it because the ladies did not speak up because alllowing such men these indescretions helped further their careers?
No, I believe it was other reasons.... But had they spoken up years ago, these perverts never would have continued going on abusing others for years on end. The perverts would have stopped doing what they did 30 years ago if these women spoke up back then.
The reason most of these people didn't report any of this was because they didn't feel safe when in their teens to speak up, and now that a few came forward as older ladies (or men), the rest of them all now feel strong enough to come forward too. But remember, it really isn't an all of a sudden thing that has just happened in the last 2 or 3 months, even if it seems that way. I think it first started and the floodgates opened up with Bill Cosby, and hell, wasn't that like 3 or 4 years ago when the first woman came forward about that pervert?
Then we have that very hard right wing conservative Republican pervert in Alabama named Moore, who is running for the U.S. Senate. This guys was going after 14 year olds in his mid 30s when he was the DA, and so many other people have backed up these women's stories about him going after them in their teens, yet the pervert refuses to admit he did it, while Dictator Trump yesterday took this asshole's side in the matter. Figures Trump would support him since he himself had what, 7 different women accuse him of the same thing, including a lawsuit claiming he raped a 13 year old girl at a party, I believe back in the late '90s. Yet the GOP, including the hypocrites in the religious right, totally backed him anyway, as they don't really care about their phony morals, they only care about their stupid right wing agenda, and they rather see a pedofile in office than a Democrat. Sad but true.... But did you ever notice that, at least when the democrats get caught being perverts, i.e. Anthony Weiner and Al Franken, they admit to it upfront, whereas the Republicans don't and just deny it, even in a cases like Moore and Trump, since they know their brain dead followers will still vote for them anyway. Yet these same people ask why our country is so messed up? Well for starters, we have a sick, racist pervert in the White House and you voted for him, that's why!
But one last thing on that pervert Moore... his supporters and he keep asking, why are these women coming forward now, 40 years later? What a stupid question to ask which has a simple answer to it... It's because the pervert is now running for the U.S. Senate as a Republican in the most solid red state in the entire country, and his or any other Republican getting in is almost 100% guaranteed in that totally backwards state. That's why these statements are coming out now, and for the first time in decades, there will be a close race down there for once that the Dem has a chance of winning. Yet Alabama is so backwards and red, that this pervert could still win - and he just might. The only other state that this could happen in is in neighboring Mississippi. I guess it's the water or the heat down there that totally fries many people's brains? Plus don't tell me the entire country is this way too, since Trump also got elected after he was exposed as being a pervert. Nope! Trump lost the election by 3 million votes, so no, the people didn't support him and didn't vote him into office, he just got in the back door in other ways that only can be done by the help of Russian cheating, and the stupid Electoral College. The pervert lost the popular vote, and only for president in this country is where a person can lose the vote and still get into office. But if the majority of people in Alabama vote against Moore, he will not go to DC, and that's a fact.
