When I think of David Cassidy I still think of him as that young kid who was getting all of the girls, and I think back and remember how much my youngest sister and her friends were all so crazy about him. Yet he died from dementia, which you only get when you're old of course. It is said that only us lucky ones get to grow old, since the other choice means dying young. But dementia scares the crap out of me, and it seems more and more people in their 60s are getting it these days. Years ago it seemed you had to be in your 70s or more to get it. But heck, he's the second rocker in his 60s this week to die from it! How sad indeed. RIP David.
