Yes, both great songs. It's interesting that Marriott didn't want "Lazy Sunday Afternoon" released in the UK as a single as he considered it at best a joke/gimmick song (he sings the song in a really strong, London cockney accent). However, it reached number 2 in the UK. The follow up was "Universal" which he considered a far superior song in every way to Lazy Sunday. However, it didn't chart (or only in the very lower reaches). They say this was an important point for him when he realized he wanted to go off and make the music that pleased him rather than always pleasing--and making money--for the record company. I never really liked Humble Pie though. It mostly seems like early heavy metal to me and the voice which was so great in the Small Faces becomes hyped and oversold like Robert Plant's in Zep (which was obviously a far better group). There was still plenty of life in the Small Faces when Marriott left and things might have turned out better for everyone if he'd just hung in there for a couple more years.
