Okay man, no rush and no worries. It seems like it is all too easy to just fire things off sometimes. But don't call me a good guy just yet; you should wait till I drop by this summer and give you a pile of fresh boletus mushrooms collected from the big thru-hike I'm planning. Let's just say it involves Comanche Lake, Venable/Comanche passes and all the way on down North Crestone Creek to the very bottom on the other side. I haven't been there in a while, and it is time to go back, if for no other reason than I'm just about out of dried mushrooms. Here's a few pictures from the last time, for fun, and to remind us that there are actually real people here, not just amorphous digital "Stoners.."
The first two are from the Willow Lake hike, which you must know. The 3rd is from Veneable Pass looking south along the main ridge of the Sangres, and the last is me and my protege setting up camp at Alvarado Campground. We don't see enough pics around here, do we?
