About 5 minutes ago, we had snow pellets coming down for about 2 or 3 minutes, that's officially snow for those who don't know what snow pellets are (frozen, ball shaped snow, looks a lot like small hail, but it's not the same as hail), but the temp was 45 degrees when this happened. That's another weird thing that actually happens often here in the spring time, snow falling with the temp well above freezing. I've seen it snow here several times with the temp over 50 degrees, like once every 2 springs this happens, and most of the time it's snow pellets, but I have even seen the normal snowflakes fall with temps that warm too (although that is rare), and I'm being totally honest with you, again, it happens about every other spring here!
