Like I noted in that other thread, it's still hard to believe, even if snow at the end of May does happen here sometimes. But normally in every other year, we see nice warm spring weather for most of May and just a bit of snow on one or 2 days. But today is the 7th day of snow falling in May right here in town, with snow falling almost every day just a bit up higher in the mountains (about 1,0000 feet up), plus it's been so cool to cold out, it still hasn't hit 70 here yet this month, and the average high for today is 70 degrees!
There is nothing I enjoy more than having a nice BBQ out on our deck, with a drink and smoke in hand and music playing on the outdoor speakers, all while looking up at our beautiful mountains! But right now you can't see our mountains at all. We were gonna have the BBQ tomorrow at first, but the forecast wasn't good, so I planned it for today instead, but now it's back to tomorrow again, unless it clears up today - real fast. But even with this bad weather, we still will see some of the sun on most days, unlike what you get back east where you live, when it rains out and just stays cloudy for a week. I could never get use to that weather back when I lived there. For yesterday, one minute you'd be outside and it felt nice and warm in the strong May sun, then a minute later the sun went in behind the clouds and the wind would blow, and it would feel 20 degrees colder. Oh well, June is next week, it has to warm up!
