Minor League Baseball

I love me some Baseball, NB. You're lucky your son is a top notch player and you get to watch him play. I excelled at the Sport growing up but those genes didn't translate over to my son. He IS a great fan of the Sport and Sports in general thank goodness. Gives us plenty to talk about. He's 26 today.

I'll have the most fun today with my 9 year old granddaughter. Last year I took her to her first Salem Red Sox game, and she walked away with a foul ball and one of those projectiled tee shirts! You should have seen the smile on her face! She has personality plus and she is now a big Salem Red Sox fan for life. Dip N Dots will be served for sure as the weather will be clear blue skies and 80 degrees. And I have a feeling somebody will buy her a Salem Sox Baseball cap as well.

For your eyes only NB, here is a photo of Salem Memorial Park. It was built to triple A standards. The seats are comfortable and we are all proud of this stadium around here. They keep the field manicured to Big League standars. The ACC tourney has been played here. We will be sitting in the section to the left of the 1st base dugout. 2nd row. (The most action without some stupid net in your way takes place at 1st base - when you think about it. We all love those seats. 9 dollars a ticket to be practically on the field!)
