Allen Collins: died 1990 of pneumonia.
Which was caused by his paralyses, so if he had never been in that car wreck, he would still be alive today.
Keno, his car didn't hit a tree, it ran off the road and ended up in a ditch.
Yes, this band and its members have had so many different accidents, that I'm getting their car hitting trees accidents mixed up. About a year before the plane crash (and I know you know this), one of the guitarists, it could have been Collins again, hit an oak tree while driving drunk and totaled his brand new car. The song 'That Smell" was in part about this and contains the lyric "oak tree you're in my way".
I didn't know that Leon Wilkeson died of substance abuse, thought it was something else.
