Not sure, but from reading your first reply, you didn't get our cover polls and Stones VS album polls mixed up, did you? Last week's poll with TY wasn't placing it's cover up against B2B's cover, it was asking which album was better. Also, when we do the album cover polls, we just rate them, we have never put them up against each other, but heck, on down the road I guess we could do that too someday.

In the "battle of the mediocre albums" (aka this week's Stones poll), I went for BtoB...
At first, by using 'BtoB', it looks like, to any internet Stones fans of the late '90s and early '00s, that you might be talking about the album Between the Buttons, but of course, since everybody reading this knows what 2 LPs are in play this week, we all know what LP you really mean. But heck, in the old internet days you would have gotten a spanking for not knowing (or at the least, not using) your Stones album internet lingo (aka Stones Internet Acronyms)! So, just to remind every Stones fans out there, I know things aren't like they were on the WWW years ago, but heck, Stones fans should still remember this, one of the first lessons in Stones Internet 101 is, that when using Stones internet lingo/acronyms, you use these for the following "B" LPs:
"B2B" is used for Bridges To Babylon, "BB" is used for Beggars Banquet, "BnB" is used for Black 'n Blue, and "BTB" is used for Between The Buttons. Class is now dismissed....
"Monkey Man" in the second rock poll.... The song is leading right now, but I thought it would be just killing the Kinks entry, which it isn't. I thought most Stones fans voted on Monday? Come on guys! Let's support MM!
Well, yes, Monday is the one day where most Stones fans vote overall in all of the weekly polls, and this weekly poll thread is perhaps the main reason why - as it gets its most views on Monday. However, 3 things to keep in mind. 1) It is a US holiday today, and many Stones fans who read the board at their work only, are not working today, and in holiday weeks - Tuesday is also a strong day where we will see a lot of Stones voters showing up to vote. 2) As I noted, there are a ton of non-Stones fans who now vote every week in the non-Stones polls (that's a good thing!), and for the last 2 or 3 years, the weekly Rock poll sees more votes on average per week than the weekly Stones poll sees. But even with that in mind, this is the VS poll, and although this second Rock poll is very popular, it almost never out tallies the Stones poll vote totals. But still, many non-Stones fans who vote in the Rock poll, also vote in the VS poll, too 3) I'm a Stones fan first, and I love MM, but for the 2 songs listed, no way I will vote for it in this week, as I love the Kinks song more!
