Guy Lombardo, ah yes, I recall some of those TV shows indeed! When I was 16, 17 years old, I worked at Jones Beach in the summers and about every half hour or so they played this announcement on the beach speakers (well, it was a recorded ad that they kept repeating) for this Guy Lombardo musical that played every night at the Jones Beach theater. After hearing that stupid ad over and over again all day long for 3 months straight, I was ready to strangle Guy Lombardo, LOL! This was back in the days when the Jones Beach theater only played that one musician every damn nite and nothing else was allowed to be held there. They finally opened up the theater to rock concerts around the time I moved away from NY, so although I was in that theater many times, I never once saw a show there. I was never into Guy Lombardo and his kind of music, Ronnie!
