Hell...I'm old enough..before Dick, there was.....Guy Lombardo - yes, Guy Lombardo. For those unfamiliar, Guy Lombardo was an orchestra leader, and he would have this gig at a hotel ballroom in New York every NYE which was televised, so you got to see all sorts of society types drunk out of their mind dancing and whooping it up at midnight. Pretty funny actually.
