Since I know it's gonna be slow here till the holiday weekend finishes up, and I'm up early and bored after only 3 hours of sleep, I figured I would add a post which would have gone great with our New Year's Eve thread from the other day.
Got up just before 7am for just 5 minutes to turn off the backup heater before the high energy rates hit, and then made the mistake of looking out the window and see that it's snowing again. It wasn't suppose to be snowing this morning, and since I'm the weatherman in a small town, when mistakes like this happen, I get directly blamed, so instead of just going back to bed like I planned, I went online to see where the forecast last nite went wrong. Well I found out that this must be the only place in Colorado where it's snowing right now, but that of course lead to me correcting the old forecast online at my weather site, then I had to head out the door and measure the new snow before I went back to bed. But going outside, even for only 2 minute in frigid temps, totally woke me up and next thing I know it's after 8 and I decided to check my email... then the phone rings with a business call.... who the fuck calls at 815 am wanting to talk business on a holiday weekend? I told them that, but not using any rude words, and told them to call me back on Monday afternoon. I dont want to really do business with them anyway, so I set a time for the afternoon when I know I won't be here for when they call me back.... So I then went back to my emails and found this bit about New Year's Eve parties that nobody wants to go to. Again, it's right up the alley of that thread we just had, so at least some of you will dig this (I guess pluto won't). To those of you who aren't in the mood for this, well I'm sorry I just wasted 2 or 3 minutes of your time, but I warned you this was a NSC post, and again, I'm bored.
