I just think Jagger doesn't want Taylor's presence to over shadow the rest of the band (mainly him!)

I have a hard time buying this. Mick J is the consumate showman. He knows how to work a crowd and how to keep his audience's eyes on him. He's been perfecting this for 50 years.

If anyone would have reason to feel upstaged, it would be Keith and Ronnie. But they seem happy to have Mick T around, so there's none of that.

I think Keno's theory is probably closer to the truth. But mind you, this is JMHO.
