i've opined this before,, and I'll say it again...
I cant consider the fact that money issues/greed issues is the deal breaker with having MT playing on more songs.... I cant believe its money in the way.....
I mean really, how much money would have to be paid for a few more songs?
And to think that they are paying the guest players like MT, Darryl, Ian etc. menial amounts doesn't seem probable to me because I'm sure that those fees are Union established and I would prefer to believe that the Stones would pay them over the established fees, if not to be fair, to add to the prestige of playing with the Worlds Greatest Rock and Roll band.
Ronnie and MT did a few gigs together recently... why would they let money get in the way.....
Its something else, maybe that he is short leashed because HE quit the Stones..... remember Keith had said that the only way to leave the Stones is in a coffin, then MT splits......
