I heard a pundit on MSNBC say that given 64 passing that Boulder will likely be changing it's name to "New Amsterdam". Ha! Congrats to Colorado and Washington state for supporting personal freedom, and also to the 4 states that voted for marriage equality as well. The tide seems to be turning.
As far as the presidential election goes, I'm hoping that the GOP will finally learn that they can't win any more by being the "angry white man's party". There's only so many groups you can alienate and still be viable. Women, Latinos, blacks, LGBT, union members, Medicare recipients, students, non-fundies, those lacking health insurance -- it's possible to drop below 50% fairly quickly by pissing off these demographics all at once. The Republicans need to lose the Tea Party or else mentality and move back toward the center, or cease to be a viable political entity.
