RE: A Better Mouse Trap (nsc)

Thank goodness for my cat is all I can say. Where I live, if you don't have a cat, you have many mice in your home, that's the way it goes here. Plus they carry that deadly virus which has made a few in this town real sick, that alone is a major problem.

One year, a very bad year for mice in homes around here, and before we got the cat, I was counting how many mice I killed. I stopped counting after I was past 110, and it was only early November! I mean they were everywhere that year, and log houses are impossible to plug every hole leading to the outside. But that year I twice got two mice on one trap - at the same time! What I hated was a few times where the trap got them and they were still alive, had to drown them in a bucket to put them out of their misery. Plus yes MMR, for me, peanut butter worked the best, but sometimes they would lick the trap clean and I would have to try again. In time, it does work.

I have a great story to tell about my cat and this one mouse - along with a cool photo to share, just not tonight, since it's almost 4am here and I need some sleep and the photo isn't online yet, and I'll have to place it online if I wish to show it here. But it's a funny story and one I would like to share. Maybe tomorrow I'll get around to it.
