Yoko is not singing on the single version of across the universe keno,that was recorded in 1967 before she met john.Two young girls who were hanging around outside of the abbey road studios hoping to meet the beatles were brought in to sing on the track.

Wow, you are right, I forgot about that story! Your comment got me to get out my Beatles' bible - Recording Sessions (what a great book that one is), and I looked up the song. It was recorded in Feb, '68 and it was Paul who went out and got those two girls to sing on it. I have read that book more than once and as soon as I started to read that bit again, yes I had forgotten about that. But damn, the two of them do sound like Yoko!
