Well yes I do see a familiar pattern repeating here. Perhaps we have been talking at cross purposes. The term 'Lead Riff' is your term, and I took that to mean the chord based riff that opens the song, and repeats throughout in the verses. Lennon and Harrison have both said that they played that riff in the song. There are lots of examples of them doing it, I have given some, plus an excellent breakdown of who played what on the record, from Mike Pachelli.
So if that riff referred to above is not the 'lead guitar' part that you are saying justifies Lennon's 'lead' credit at wiki, then it can only be the 4 bar guitar solo that comes after the second verse. That solo was played by Harrison, there is a wealth of evidence to support that, and not one scintilla of evidence to the contrary that I have ever seen or heard. If you have any verifiable evidence that it was Lennon who played that solo on the record, then point us all in the direction of.
The only point we have been disputing is wiki crediting Harrison with 'lead' guitar on 'I Feel Fine', which you say they are wrong on, and I say they are correct in. All the rest is lather.
