Good grief, has poor old Muffin actually been banned, found himself on the wrong side in the culture wars, offended some woke sensibility? When I said what I did I was only making a tasteless bestiality joke around the British slang use of the word 'muff'.
Good grief, poor old Muffin banned, what the fuck was the reason? I tell you what though, if it was recent I'm not surprised, nothing would surprise me in today's world.
I love the sound of Tex Antoine, I could envisage a half hour sit- com based on him. I see him as a dipso children's weatherman, a liability, but with huge network rating, the kids (and adults with delinquent humour) love him. So the comedy would come from the station's attempts to exercise some sort of control, trying to get him to tone down the outrageous.
That was an extremely stupid thing for your man Tex to say, but I have heard similar on 60's and 70's tv. That apart, a weather programme for kids is an excellent idea. I don't recall anything like that here, although there was a news programme aimed at kids 'John Craven's Newsround'.
