RE: RE: Mumbo Jumbo for September

The word obsession might be too strong a word to use to describe me today with the weather, or ever since I was a teen, as there are/were a lot of things I been or was into. My mom used to say as a teen that I was obsessed both with the Stones, and girls, and in a way I guess I was. But for the most part I've had a lot of loves (for both people and things) in my life since my preteen years. But back when I was 4, 5 years old, perhaps I was a bit obsess with the weather. I really can't remember too much from back in those days of course and must go with the stories that my parents told me as I grew older. But the truth was, back near the close of the '50s, back when I was 4, heck, and perhaps more so than today for 4 year olds, there wasn't a lot for a kid that age to do or be interested in, besides learning from their parents. There wasn't a lot of TV back then, and the only kid show I recall watching everyday was a show called "Romber Room", which was, besides cartoons (which were only shown on Saturday mornings), was the only Monday thru Friday daily preteen kid show on the black & white tube, and it was really a kindergarten based program on TV. Oh yeah, there was Bozo the Clown, too, almost forgot about him, he was on right after Romber Room. So I bet I was obsessed with the weather back then, since there wasn't a lot to do while living in the town of Elmont, NY in those days for kids, a town which sat next to Brooklyn to the south, and Queens to the west. Funny, that this was during the Baby Boom, yet the street I lived on had almost no kids my age, other than one boy who lived across the street - which I wasn't allowed to cross. So watching Romber Room, Bozo, repeats of the 3 Stooges (too), and the weather, was my life back then. But those shows were only on for a half hour at a time, while the weather was happening 24 hours a day, and yes, I loved the weather, morso than those shows, not something most 4 years olds would even love!

Thinking about what you say about your weather 'psychic' abilities (gift), I sort of think that for whatever reason you have retained a sensitivity that probably early humans all had, and which animals still have, because they are so much more at risk from the elements than we think we are, now

This is very funny to read this, since just about 2 or 3 hours ago I was on the phone with my brother-in-law, I guy who's been my in-law for 54 years now, but who lives in Pennsylvania with my oldest sister, and whom I haven't spoken to in a good 10 plus years. My poor sister is sadly real bad off with dementia, which is slowly killing her, so that's why he called me today, to update me on her condition. But he's a fellow scientist himself (just retired) and we were talking about that connection, and I noted to him how I'm still a weather psychic, and he said to me - almost the very same words you wrote here the other day (but which I only got to read just now). I mean, he said to me almost word for word what you wrote! What are the odds?! LOL! But yes, those words are true indeed, although I have no clue why I'm so in turned to the weather, I only know that I am.... and come to think of it, the monthly weather report that I still write for the newspaper, is due in today, so guess what I have to go put together right now?
