I just took a 62½ minute brake after a busy day and spun (for the umpteenth time) the entire Voodoo Lounge CD, with the headphones.
What I find amazing about that great album, like many other Stones albums, is that every time I play it I have a different favorite. After this evening's spin, my current favorite now is 'Suck On The Jugular'.
It's a highly enjoyable album, it just keeps me, -- how should I say, 🤔 what's a good word, --- oh I know = ENCHANTED! 😁
'Mean Disposition' is a perfect closer. I know I've said this many times, but the Stones really should do this one live -- with a long improv jam.
'Sparks Will Fly' should have been a single -- cleaned up of course for radio airplay. 😈
'Blinded By Rainbows' for me just doesn't know any boundaries. It just keeps exceeding the threshold with every listen. You know what I mean? In other words, I love it even more with each listen. How is that possible! Hey it's the Stones.
'Baby Break It Down' --what an amazing song, and is further proof-positive the Mickster is an excellent singer. Outstanding singer. I love his singing. He's got a style all his own.
