First, don't know where you heard that, but the Stones were asked to play at Woodstock and weren't snubbed at all! The Stones turned them down because Jagger was filming a movie in Australia at the time of the concert.
A reunion won't work, so they might as well not even try it unless it was again put on for free and held in the same spot with the very same bands and artists who played the first time, only. Anything else won't be a true reunion and they just can't create that atmosphere again since most of the acts are long broken up, and many of the artists are long dead (as I'll bet that many of the kids who attended in 1969 are also dead too by now, too). They did try reunions twice in the past and it wasn't the same, so while it would be cool to remember the event with perhaps some kind of new doc/special put together about it and find out what everybody who is still alive today is up to (that would be very cool), a actual concert just won't work or be the same.
